I listed mine out a while back and it scared me:

2009 Laser

2011 Homebuilt Foiling Moth

1983 505

1972 International 110

1955 International 14

1953 Star

1992 Mako 241 Center Console

I need to thin the herd a bit. The 14 and Star are likely to get finished off and sold.

Fun thread.  At our height the Admiral and I owned:

 - Cruising multihull:

 - Tender

- Kayak (2 seater)

 - Laser - two; one for club and one for home

 - Snipe

 - Pico (kids)

 - Optis (2, for kids)

 - Whaler

 - Jetski (surprisingly great toy for fishing, tubing the kids etc...)

We have since downsized from 11 boats to 5 as the kids have flown the coop):

 - Bigger cruising multihull

 - Tender

 - Kayak (2 seater)

 - Laser - one at home (about to be replaced with a new one and the old one donated)

 - UFO foiler

See... we are not addicted... we are able to cut back from 11 down to 5!!

Hey Lifesaver, I would love to hear your opinion on the Warren Lightcraft Trimaran.  I looked at those a few years back (online) and the weight and looks were incredible.  How does it perform?

And I still browse the classifieds quite often for some specific boats that I would like to own.
I guess it really is a sickness.  Although, some of the lists above at least let me know that I am not alone.

Third.

I do get to cover my fix by being the primary purchaser of boats for the Park City Sailing Association. This year alone I got to buy; ten RS Teras from West Coast Sailing, a new Defender Rib, a 2016 Mercury Rib, and two J22s (second one underway right now).

In the garage:  How about point of origin?

2001 Laser - Car Dealership

2003 Wilderness Systems 14.5 Ocean kayak - Pawn shop 1/2 price

1998 Wilderness Systems 17' Ocean kayak - Freebie supplied to wife as bonus for running multiple guided trips

1976 14' Lowline Johnboat w/78 Johnson ob - Inherited from grandfather.  First boat I ever got to "solo".

Early 2000's Opti - One of my Laser/ILCA buddies last summer

In the dry stack:

1989 Grady White Seafarer Cuddy Cabin - Boat dealer in NC shutting down.  He got it from the great lakes in the 90's and it sat in his year for almost 10 years.  Dad picked it up for a song.  He and mom aged out so the "kids" have free reign.

I need to show this thread to my wife, who is convinced our boat collection is is five times bigger than anyone else's and that I should likely be institutionalized (she might not be wrong on the latter part).

J/110

Laser  X 2

UFO Foiling Dinghy

One Design 14 Grand Prix   (will be moving out of the fleet this spring)

Kayak X 2

DN Iceboat

Nite Iceboat

Boston Whaler Outrage 17

I've been given a cap of 10 boats (one for each finger) so when the I-14 leaves the fleet, I can begin to look for the next ride....

Oh yeah, we also have a Hobie Wave on the beach that gets sailed more than any of the other boats by my wife, kids, and friends but it is owned by a friend, not me, so it doesn't count in my tally.

WCB said " I do get to cover my fix by being the primary purchaser of boats for the Park City Sailing Association"

I do the same for my club and it's more fun than buying them for myself as I get to see others enjoying my choices.

So far:

1 Wayfarer

5 Lasers

1 Laser 2

1 Drascombe Lugger

Too many Longboard Windsurfers

Hornet to be collected for fun and games this summer.

I fell much better knowing that I only have a Arrow (14 cat) and a Impulse.

The only problem is I also have glider and 1/4 share in another plus 30+ radio controlled planes and gliders.

Can’t say I’m proud of that.  I’m in the process of moving and the boats are a source of serious stress at the moment.  Anyone want a 27’ Chris craft cavalier on a trailer?   Very cool boat for messing around in!

That's kind of my fear too.  If and when we move back East from the mountains, I don't know if all of the boats can come with me.  Luckily the biggest one I have, the Mako center console, is already on Cape Cod.

I lost count a long time ago.

It’s hard to call some of the things “boats” because they are incomplete experiments.

Antibuyachtics. We all need them

”Mr. Clark! Move away from the boat! Put the check book down and take three steps backwards.”

Antibuyyachtic, brillant,  just found the name for our new free boat.  I was thinking of "From here to infirmity" but it  was already taken, was going for "Mostly harmless" but felt it was too.....something. Thanks SHC
