CerveloR5 7 #3 Posted October 16, 2020 Speaking of Manhasset Bay, how about the fall series this year, someone spent over 200K on a new J sport boat and got beat by the same boat that would beat him on Wed nites a couple of years back in his old J sport boat. penumbra 7 #5 Posted October 16, 2020 Good protected harbor. Two club options - one very low key and generally in the shallower draft end of the bay, the other a little fancier and in the deeper end. The Bay is small and I'm pretty sure you can participate in everything there regardless of which club you choose to join. Even for winter sailing you can frostbite at Manhasset Bay YC if you're a member of Port Washington. Historically MBYC hosts more regattas but that doesn't really matter.
