      Abbreviated rules   07/28/2017

Underdawg did an excellent job of explaining the rules.  Here's the simplified version: Don't insinuate Pedo.  Warning and or timeout for a first offense.  PermaFlick for any subsequent offenses Don't out members.  See above for penalties.  Caveat:  if you have ever used your own real name or personal information here on the forums since, like, ever - it doesn't count and you are fair game. If you see spam posts, report it to the mods.  We do not hang out in every thread 24/7 If you see any of the above, report it to the mods by hitting the Report button in the offending post.   We do not take action for foul language, off-subject content, or abusive behavior unless it escalates to persistent stalking.  There may be times that we might warn someone or flick someone for something particularly egregious.  There is no standard, we will know it when we see it.  If you continually report things that do not fall into rules #1 or 2 above, you may very well get a timeout yourself for annoying the Mods with repeated whining.  Use your best judgement. Warnings, timeouts, suspensions and flicks are arbitrary and capricious.  Deal with it.  Welcome to anarchy.   If you are a newbie, there are unwritten rules to adhere to.  They will be explained to you soon enough.

we had a good run at the Doublehanded Three Bridges Fiasco yesterday. We finished 13th monohull overall out of 300+ starters, 4th in the DH sportboats division. It was perfect Tiger conditions...

We have an 8 dollar bungee, attached to the after cleats, that we put at the helm during hoists and douses. It's like having an extra pair of hands. We call him Bongo.

Enjoy the video:

Congrats Fab, a lot of good boats finished after 4th and 13th.

How did you get out of that park-up at about 5:30 in the vid?

Here is the full story... there was a little pressure south of the big parking lot, and we kept the boat moving with our spi up. We have a very flat small spi (~95 sqm) that was deisgned for heavy air, that works as a big genoa when it's very light. We can go to ~70 apparent, and the boat just keeps moving. If you see the video at 5:42 you can see the windex, the main and the shade of the spi working behind it.

Looks like a great day and great results - congrats Cazza. Question, is it just me or was that P-S duck really close with the rigs? Maybe just the fisheye lens?

The three bridge was not a typical fiasco this year, plenty of wind with an interesting crossing back from Racoon with the ebb against the wind... We went the wrong way this year, but still we were done by 2pm...
