And here's that final rounding. Just got some more sweetness from Vincitore and Anema Coray, the old Platoon going upwind.

So SImplicity, Blu Moon, Barbarians, all absolutely buried in what we hope is all of their throwout.

anyone else having trouble with vids? mine wont load but maybe because i'm at a conference and youtube could be blocked.

You sometimes need to close and re-open your browser if that glitch happens where just the first few seconds loads.

Wind will continue to drop and back and forth between 240 and 320....

Since they called this a Course 4, I can only guess that they plan on four today. It's pretty damned early.

Go the Hutch

I may be a little partial but the results from the Med Cup alone should be generating some buzz for a Rolex yachtsman of the year award. T Hutch is fairly well dialed in and that draws some other good talent to the boats he is working so I think he can only get faster...

So perhaps the vodkas I had last night screwed with my memory: Aside from Simon and Bora, who is on Simplicity?

Shoudln't be an issue with the anchor line. They have a big ass weitht on a painter hanging off the anchor line about 8' - 10' down

That's event press officer Justing Chisholm, editor of Offshore Rules.

Blu Moon still not back! We're not sure about Ullman at the moment, but RC stopped calling the numbers so we can't be sure. This is going to shake things up massively!

Hutch and Joe Fly will benefit massively.

Awesome that my Etchells semi-OTWA pal Becky DaMore is on Simplicity! Rock on!

Easily 20 boats, Tramp.

Rare that a RC has enough cajunas to call 20 over rather than recall.

Nice to see some balls like that Dixie...I ran a local Lightning regatta once many years back (15 or so boats) and I called 14 of them back. :o

With today's technology, and RC's recording everything, it isn't as difficult as it used to be..remember, calling them back is a courtesy.

That's the way it should be done. THe only reason for a general is if you can't get tne #'s of everyone that was over.

Oh come on Phoenix, all that huggin' and you still don't know?

So Hike Bitches, a nice courtesy the RC offers to OCS boats, I agree. I surfed over the SIs and found that the RC announced an intention to call OCS boats, but no redress if they screw up.

With the northerly easing off and the water so low, the flood tide should be massive. It was so low this morning that Melcripto and I were aground just in front of the slip. That would help push you over pretty fast if the starting line is still where it was.

Let's not get into a rules discussion now, Dixie. God you know how that derails everything with all the sea-lawyers here.

Good thing about the 5 legger is that some of these OCS boats can get back into it. Blu Moon, I think, headed in already, picking their throwout.

That would be a bad call by Blu Moon........they would then count their 29th.............

Results show Blu Moon leading overall with a 29 throwout, so they're royally screwed now. Same with Ullman. Hutchinson owns this regatta right now, though Joe Fly is right behind him if things stay where they are right now this race.
