To add to the list. So..nyah nyah nyah! Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump 3h3 hours ago More For all of the Fake News Reporters that don’t have a clue as to what the law is relative to Presidential powers, China, etc., try looking at the Emergency Economic Powers Act of 1977. We have parks and schools here in NE Florida named after confederate generals. I can see "Trump High School" being built in the near future.

Maybe we are over reacting just a little.

Next argument from the gunlickers: Being born leads to death in 100% of people. Therefore everybody should have free access to deadly firepower, because the British could come sailing up at any moment to take the place back. Also, them blacks and latinos could get uppity.

Bullshit. He's far more likely to have a type of mental illness named after him. Really dumb narcissists with an utterly grandiose self-image will be suffering from Trump Delusional Syndrome. Medics will privately use the term Mushrooms for these cases.

    Team NZ

Calm down. I will say that I've had it for about a decade and older me isn't quite as gung ho as the younger one. I fully admire the role they play, buy if you have a legitimate reason to object to my profile picture, I'll change it.
  11. If Dragonfly made a 7 m (22 ft.) trimaran I would probably buy it, for the convenience, the reputation etc. I have had offers for a second hand Dragonfly 800 (1990), and a Dragonfly 25 Sport (2016). The Farrier/Corsair folding system is great for trailering; the swing folding system is better for mooring, in my opinion. I shall keep my boat on a mooring most of the time. I like the compactness of the F22, and the upcoming Libertist. Latest edition of Multihulls World had an article about its bigger sibling - the Libertist 853 - very favourable. Also I have good experience with French boat designers; they know their stuff...

Section 8 is the natural conclusion of how this story ends. Trump stays out of jail, a wave of sympathy is generated for their fallen hero, and Democrats are laid waste for picking on a vulnerable old man, parks, schools, and courthouses are named for the former president. Meanwhile, the Republican powerhouse finds a suitable candidate and runs on a sympathy platform. I seriously doubt if it is enough to save the Republicans, but they come out pretty unscathed.

    Larry's AC50 Circus

Not how I see it mate. He is calling you because you are the worst of the fucking worst. I have been around these boards for a while, check, and you are the most distasteful example of what is so fucked about forums this last decade. I completely agree with Clean that the combination of you burning your morals in public and the deceitful ego driven circus funding you is beyond the pale. It's just sickening and I'm happy that it's not just me who sees it that way. I really like the 50s and was looking forward to the technology living on in some way, but now I would not go near them after the shit-show that you have generated here. Even Heartland anti-science funds shills in PA didn't annoy me as much as you do, at least it wasn't demeaning the sport I love. I hope your boss reads this and decides to pull the pin on this part of the fabricated reality they are generating.

    KIA STINGER GT ??

What year is your Subaru? I thought Subaru was only just starting with Direct injection. I got quite concerned about this with my Toyota. Research lead me to believe that this is really only an issue with cars that do lots of short runs and do enough highway miles, basically people who should have gone a bought a Corolla because that's all they need. I never worried about it with my Toyota after I worked that out. Now I have a Subaru so I get to worry about head gaskets and CVT's blowing up.

    KIA STINGER GT ??

Around here the standard joke is that to be a real Subaru driver you have to vape. Funny thing is that I know of three Subaru drivers at my place of work, including myself and all three of us also vape, so maybe there is something to it.

    Flaming Good Drone Video

The FD we work with for our last drill had 3 of their own drones overhead with HD cameras feeding back to a control truck. They're a great tool in that application. And I could talk to any fireman I wanted to and they were happy to do so... What does that tell you?
  23. Hah - no kidding. Coming from a 40' mono which is cozy but comfortable for us for 1-2 weeks, I can't imagine a 40' cat feeling cramped, but our kids are only getting bigger... 50' cats seem like a whole other ball game in terms of comfort, stability... and price... always the way it is it seems. One question on the MC41 - I'm surprised to see owners reporting max motoring speeds in the 6.5 (one engine) to 7.2 (both) knot range in flat water. That's what our 40' 10T mono does; I'd think that a performance cat would be faster under motor.
  24. I don't know, I fire them off into the ocean before they rot. Sometimes before they see duty, if I'm really clumsy. I like black ones.

Feasibility to refit a big, old boat?

In short: no. In long: I know this feeling, walking around the harbor, thinking: am I the only one to see this? To see the beauty in this pile of dirt and dust? Hey, I could fix this, be a hero and have the story of my life to tell. And these stories happen. But they are rare as Hollywood careers. One golden rule: never buy a boat that you couldn't sail away on NOW (or that only needs to be lifted into the water). Otherwise, it will not only cost you all your money, but something much more important: your motivation. You will spend endless summers crawling hot dark corners inside your moist, defunct boat, and there will be this nagging thought: I could be sailing right now. Do this instead: Set yourself a budget. That is purchase plus at least 50% for repairs. Never tell anyone of this budget. Especially not a seller. Cut this budget in half. Repeat. This is what you're telling the seller. Look for at least three 'targets'. Look at them, while they are in the water. Preferably, take a sail. Wait until they come out of the water for winter storage. If they don't, the current owner is either desperate, broke or careless. If so: abstain. Take another look, when the boat is on the hard. Get a surveyor. Start offering, before heavy maintenance works start. Once these are complete, bargaining will be much harder, it's a matter of psychology: everybody wants to reap the rewards of hard labour. Either in hard money or another nice season. Don't be disappointed, if you don't get what you want. Fix your eyes quickly on the next 'target'. Boats find their owners. It only feels the other way around. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT convert an Alden Schooner into a cutter. Don't even think about it. It's heresy and should be made unlawful. Until then: see Liam Neeson memes. No. Steelboats of this size cannot be trailered over land.
