1. Pricey, easy access south of Port Everglades, up Dania Cut Off Canal.
2. Pricey, a ways up the New River.
3. Cheaper, a ways up the New River.

There can't be a thread about Lauderdale without mentioning cooterball.

Apparently spelling Derecktors is fallen to the realm of 'wisdom of the ancients'.

Riverbend is the way to go...

Make sure you visit the Bimini Bay Bar!!! Not to be missed (if they are still in business)!

I campaigned my boat out of Riverbend two years ago and they were great. They don't let you do your own work though, at least not major work that is, and they take a cut from your contractor (which you end up paying for). I think Riverbend is one of the last yards catering to racing sailboats. Two years ago a lot of Farr 40's were there. There is an older hippy guy that runs the travel lift, make sure you tip him well and he will take care of you.

Be warned the attitude around Lauderdale is if you aren't at least 100' foot long powerboat, no body admits to caring much about you, although I found no one too stuck up to take my money.

That's a little north of Lauderdale.  Playboy is still in business.

Undercover police have put a stop to those joys. No more ping pong. No more cooterball. A chick last week got arrested for picking up a dollar bill with her tits. Now it's just porn on the TV that sets the place apart from an armpit shithole. That, and the class of chicks has improved a bit now that they aren't expected to throw ping pong balls out of their hoohahs, or let people throw dollar bills into them.
