Had the event happened in 2008 it wouldn't have conflicted. Had Alinghi not stalled two years in court the 34th would be getting ready to run in May.

By the way till Multihulls are back in the olympics I'm not watching. Fuck L.E. , E.B , ISAF , US Sailing , and the IOC.

The BMW Oracle Bobsled Racing Team* has campaigned vigorously to place the AC33 where it now is.

It is clearly on their heads, if they then run into some problem with the weather, the quality of the racing, or the attention level of the media.
