If GGYC wins, and given that they have said that the Cup needs independent management, who would be the candidates to be on that entity, and who specifically should chair it? (there's alot of questions about structure and terms of reference, but for right now, let's stick with the overall concept and the specific people how might serve it well)

I think the former trustees (NYYC, RPYC, SDYC, RNZYS and hopefully GGYC) could appoint an independent manager/management group to run the regatta and chair mutual consent meetings/agreements without over commercialising the event.
Remember, the AC pretty much turned to shit in the last 5 or so years. Before that, whilst the deck was stacked in favour of the defender, it was winnable, and done with the traditions of the cup upheld, men acting like gentlemen and common sense prevailing. The return of these 3 items will see the AC have its lustre restored.

So if he wants to Jimmy can go hunting............
i only think that will happen if it's light air. >7kts. and only to box out A5 to get to the left side for better pressure (if the wind models are correct)

Please discuss the presence of 6.7 in the 5th Feb NoR despite the IJ ruling on 2 Feb stating that it must be removed.
6.7 has been removed see here

This is why the new problem is HB only having 1 vote in the now called SNG RC when they vote on conditions. Other RC members are Freddie Meyer & Nicolas Granger
Note TE is BOR rep on the RC boat.

What do you estimate the relative weights of the two boats are?
Which set of hulls - a5's "pregnant" high aspect ratio hulls or DZ's more tubular Amas do you think generate less drag?
How critical is stiffness of the relative boats to performance
What do you think are the maximum winds each boat can sail in

For my photos, I unfotunately only post to one spot inside Facebook. Heres the link: http://www.facebook....1728&id=6236964 and watch the video that was Live and I know Clean adn Company are currently editing and about to post. Hope they don't cut the first 15 minutes where I bullshit with JC about earlier today while we wait for the important people to show in the Press room. Can't beleive I met some of my sailing idols tonight.
