We have few FM options up here in the styx, pun intended. A year ago a radio station began operation and plays music I grew up on. And lots of older stuff also. But for some reason they choose to play cover versions of classice. The one that are supposed to sound just like the original, like on the box set CD's.
It's frustrating to listen to.
I'm sending them an e-mail right, expecting nothing in return.
which station is that?
Jack FM is ok sometimes.. and there's another CR station out of Minturn or someplace that's pretty good. probably can't get it east of Vail pass though.
These guys: link Still the best option we have for FM.

Ive stolen it and uploaded it onto youtube.Interesting footage of an incognito Neil Young, a banjo and a harmonica, on a Glasgow sidewalk in 1976. The reactions of the passers by are priceless. One old dude "that guy is going to be a millionaire some day."

nice post there, I was just listening to this;
Saw PIL open for INXS back in the 80's. Only a few of us at the stadium knew PIL and when Johnny wasn't getting the attention of the masses he abruptly stopped after 5 songs and cursed the crowd with a "Do you know who the fuck I am, I'm Johnny fucking Rotten" and stormed off the stage. Great short show.
