Not bullshit... Backside of Catalina when the forecast was for 30+... saw one puff of 30 but for the most part it was 20's.

The camera ALWAYS seems to make it seem more moderate and the swells smaller. When you see something in a photo or video that seems gnarly, rest assured it was EPIC.
I have photos from several rides down the North Shore of Molokai when it was all you could do to hang on and snap a few exposures, and in the stills it looks like a nice day out for a sail
