Tebow out gains both Sanchez and Dalton!,
Yeah, and if Dalton and Sanchez played more than one quarter.
Tebow had more picks too. Of course Dalton had twice as many yards in the air (you know, that thing NFL QB's do? THROW the ball?) as Tebow.
Gradkowski out gained them both too; what does that mean?

"This, really, is the root of my beef with Tebowmania: It has nothing to do with football," writes Devin Gordon. "It's a sales pitch -- a sensation built on evangelism, not ability, powered by people who see a chance to turn the NFL into the next front of the culture war. And now that culture war is coming to my team."

Jets quarterback coach Matt Cavanaugh said Tebow had elevated his game this season, demonstrating increased confidence and the arm strength to launch the ball 40 to 60 yards, as well the accuracy to hit right between the numbers painted on the grass. Cavanaugh confirmed Tebow had improved mechanics and velocity and was capable of hitting the ground anywhere on the field.

Oh, man. This season could be ugly.
We should start a pool to guess his QB rating for any game in which he gets garbage time.
I have the first game he plays in as being 22.7.

Unless Sanchez gets injured or craters, Timmy won't get any QB time during the regular season - except for maybe trick plays. And in one preseason game Timmy got a rating of 18.2.

Back in the 80's the bucs would routinely go 4-0 in preseaon only to finish the regular season 2-14.
I have schooled you again!
Keeping the starters in when the other team has put in their second and third string players can make bad teams look good in the preseason. But that didn't happen in the games that Tebow played so poorly.
Tebow's playing makes "Good Rex / Bad Rex" Grossman look like the model of consistancy.

Tebow comes to town this weekend, for his team to pick up their spanking from the Dolphins. Poor Timmy. Locked in as a back up on Tony Sparano's Two-yards-and-a-cloud-of-dumb offense. Hee haw
Sol, trust me, never hitch a wagon to Tebow's imminent defeat, he'll find a way to win when counted out.
He's now in his element ... the chance to show the NY heathens the way to football salvation.

I'm a Jets fan.
And yes, Tebow should be given a chance. He'll take a bunch of snaps, run around the back field a lot, throw a bunch of wet socks, and miraculously find a way to win.
I tell ya, that dude must have photographs of Saint Christopher in a comprising position ... how else to explain the nonstop miracle parade with him?

That INT did take him below a 100 rating. Even scrambled in for a TD; apparently you think running ability has something to do with QB ability?
Most people expect them to be able to throw a pass that doesn't look like an airsick duck, too.

Dalton seems to get more yards in the air in a week than Tebow would get in a month last year.
Dalton > Tebow
One is starting, one is riding the pine while his coach figures out what to do with him. Eventually the fundamentalist howler monkeys that followed Tebow to Denver will start buying billboards for Ryan too. Might take longer though, since I'm sure media buys in metro NY are more expensive than in Denver.
