I know there was a thread regarding the beefing up of the floorboards. I am intending on doing so as a winter project. Looking for tried and true results.

We used 150mm Plastic Water Pipe, Glued to the floor ( needs to be profiled ) works like a dream. Door then does not need to be strengthened as its supported in the middle by the water pipe...

I added another lamination under mine... just epoxy and light e glass and it has been good for 3 years with no issues

I glassed in 3/4" PVC pipe on the underside.
The larger panels got two long pieces and third points in the short direction, the smaller panels one down the middle plus third points in short direction.
Works great, little or no deflection.
