It actually had the Pavlov effect on me. Half way through, I started wondering when I'd hear the local near shore forecast!Thats pretty damn funny.

I can remember one cold foggy 4:00 am morning of my misspent youth when I walked up into the wheel house of the commercial salmon boat I was working on.
The NOAA Dude was droning on about square waves whilst the stink of the arcing stylus of the old paper graph Furuno filled the air.
And I thought to myself, Shit man, I'm getting seasick . . .
This is pretty ironic,
considering we were still tied up and hadn't left the dock yet

Think I'll make that my holiday ringtone.
I think barking would be more fitting.

Priceless. I've got this stupid grin on my face after hearing that.
X2 on the stupid grin.

Sven. Because he sounds like a drunken Swede. Of course, if you listen to him for too long, you'd need a few drinks, too.Hilarious! We always called him 'Iron Mike'.
At the beginning, the way he used to mispronounce some of the local place names was hilarious: "Falmouth" became "Foul mouth", for example.
Northeast Region has largely retired that voice.
