Hoping to find a printer in the SA community that is interested in helping Oceanswatch, which is a non-profit, with printing brochures in time for the Oakland Strictly Sail show.
We'd like to find someone in a position to donate or offer discounted printing for the attached brochure.

I recently accepted a volunteer position with Oceanswatch as a coordinator for the west coast. In addition to getting the word out, we're looking for people who would be willing to donate some time at the Oakland show. PM me for details.

Your accusations are asinine although admittedly had I thought about it I would have turned off the sig block feature to avoid any appearance of promotion of my company. The booth at the show will be promoting Oceanswatch, not sponsors. And you may see my company at a commercial booth along with other vendors.

We donate a percentage of our net profit to Oceanswatch and other organizations. I also donate my time to do what I can towards marine preservation and conservation.

As for the booth last year, I split the cost of a booth with another company last year. If you would like to challenge that assertion, I offer you a wager. If I win you donate $500 to Oceanswatch. If you win I'll donate $1000 to Oceanswatch. For me to win I submit proof that I shared the expense. If I'm unable to do so, I post a copy of a cancelled check for $1000 made payable to Oceanswatch. Do we have a wager?

I'd really like to return the thread to the topic of finding a printer that will offer a discount or donation....But in the interest of putting the rest of this to bed, the other vendor was Cruise RO. They supply quality watermakers and charging systems.

Awww that really hurts. But you know something? Our business grew by about 50% last year and we're on pace to do it again. I live in a great neighborhood and my 48' ketch sits in a nice marina. I took close to a year off to go cruising a few seasons ago and I'll be able to do it again in a few years. Your petty jealousy is pretty damn entertaining. Thanks for playing.

Do you own a single sewing machine, have you EVER even worked on a sail, and lastly, what the fuck do you know about sailmaking besides some stupid ancient quotes?

As for being kicked off the Amel site, where did you come up with that jewel of an allegation? I'm frequently on it.
3 machines and yes have worked on sails.

Frankly I'd love to see you put your money where your mouth is. So when you make an allegation like me being kicked off the Amel site, (actually a group), I'd like to see you back it with the willingness to make a bet.
I'll make the odds even better. You put up $100. I'll put up $1000.

This thread is about finding a printing deal or donation for a non-profit called Oceanswatch. Can we get back to the topic now? Or should I just deal with my local printer who has no connections to the sailing community but can handle our printing needs?
