MSG Memorial Carpool & Caravan

I figure to leave early enough not to get screwed by construction and traffic (it's about 3.5 hours from here to there so we should be on the road no later than 10:00, perhaps a little earlier to leave a bit of a margin for error) and come back Saturday evening afterwards.
Anyone want to share rides, carpool, or caravan up if there are enough of you?
I live less than ten minutes from T.F. Greene airport for those of you figuring if this makes sense. We can certainly meet up at a park and ride or some such thing - there is one off of exit 10 on 95 or we could meet here. We can also collect people at bus/train stops if needed of course - there are both at the airport.

I'm planning to drive from Warwick, RI this weekend to attend MSG's memorial gathering.

You are referring to a 10am Saturday morning departure from RI to head to Albany, and a Saturday afternoon (?) gathering, yes?

OK - my plan has changed. Leaving MUCH earlier, more like 0700 or so in order to get to town earlier to catch up with others.
Carpoolers still welcome of course, but I'm hitting the road early.

Seems a rather fitting thing to do, and I feel certain that Catherine would approve.
Perhaps I should stock in a few Sharpies.

I can not attend (BJ - you'll represent RI sailors?) but I certainly could send Sharpies along!
BTW - BJ? Calendar?
I'm around all week...

Thursday should be good. Friday is OK later too, but my son has a regatta in the afternoon I want to catch so not until after that.

Catherine,
You will always be remembered forever. Please keep an eye on my ship for me during those hard nights at sea. I'll look for you in the stars above me.
C/M Jesse W. a.k.a. Dubz
Or if Wes doesn't make it to your place BJ could you possibly write it?

see you soon mainsheetsister, sol, bj and bowgirl.
I've been thinking and searching and trying (daily) to see if I could get to Albany, but I finally know now that it's not in the card$ for me to pull off a trip to NY. In other words.... no joy.
Please give each other long hugs from me. I will be there in spirit.

Crisp? For a Floridian in flipflops perhaps. It is a beautiful crisp cool day here in Albany.
Downright balmy for us and unseasonably warm actually.

R1 - slammed out at boat end of startline by something I totally missed (stupid mistake) - recovered and took a 2nd
R2 - great start - awesome first beat to top mark only to snag a crab trap on our keel 1/3 way down to leward mark - doh! - 4th
R3 - great start - perfect set at top mark - fading breeze - held on for a 2nd in a shortened race
Great afternoon with some cool peeps on board...and thoughts of MSG woven throughout the day.
