I want to buy some online (cheaper than local West Marine). Are their sizes accurate, smallish or generous?

I wouldn't suggest DuBarry's.

I find them a little on the small side- narrow too.

I have always liked the look of the DuBarry's, but have cheaped out. I have never had a real pair of boots. Always worn wet shoes. What are recommended?

You are new here so we can let it slide that you are even considering taking advice from DoRag. I have the Ultima boots and almost bough the deck shoes but for the width issue. That said, I have Frodo feet so width is always an issue.

Have the Ultimas and they are a bit narrow but I have slightly wide feet. I did order them a bit larger anyway to account for possibly having to kick them off if I end up swimming with them.

I normally wear either a 10.5 or 11 EEE. I have the Ultima Extra Fit boots in 11 and they are fine.

If you're buying them from Sound Boatworks get ready to fight with their customer service department.

Really? What do you suggest?

You're about a year late though.

Also, anyone who buys the boots should seriously drop the extra $30 on the bottles of care products. It made a big difference in the leather on mine after a season of hard use.

Reminds me of a great Peewee Herman skit - remember it's Laurence Fishburn as Cowboy Curtis

Peewee's Playhouse;

Peewee: My Cowboy Curtis, those are big boots you're wearing.

Cowboy Curtis: You know what they say Pee Wee, big boots

.....big feet!

Tell me about it. Ordered a whisker pole tube and spin pole end from them LAST NOVEMBER. Since then-I call every week, and they always say "It'll be on the truck this week." Filing lawsuit next week

I'm all for supporting small, local businesses but this did not work out well. I'll most likely take my business elsewhere.

Love my doobs, they are a bit tight for the first year but now they are just sweet. If you buy too comfortable they will stretch out and be all baggy.
Also you very rarely have to wear anything other than normal socks as the lining is nice and toasty so forget about choosing a size for thick socks.
I have treated mine like crap and 5 years later still going strong.

Buy some doobs and you will never buy another brand.

The truth? You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!

He has a high arch and a wide fit. most everybody knows that those aspects are not, repeat not, compatible with DOOOOOberrries!

Not that we need to prove you are completely redundant little cunt, but where did he say he had a high arch? Several people here have said they have wide feet and the Dubarry's are fine, myself included.

I feel dirty now that I have replied to you. Must wash.

I added some cleats that are used on fishing boots. They hold great on both rocks and on fiberglass or teak decks.
