you probably need to read more then... many don't offer anything then out of left field they throw a nice one. if this site were "pure" sailing it would have MUCH less traffic and for me (maybe others) be quite boring. It gives me what I am looking for and the sheer size of SA sort of proves that. Just skip, delete, search, filter, ignore as needed

as for your Do Rag problem, that's an easy fix. there's an "x" in the uppper right coerner of your screen. make the little arrow go over it and then push the left button on your mouse.

same fix works when you see something on tv you don't like. there's a button labled "power" click and go for a walk outside. fixed. well, first unwad your panties. then it's fixed.

I'm back. This thread is a good way for all of us to vent after the LSC tragedy. I posted the following on another thread a few weeks ago. I think it's pretty darn good.

You have to understand why DoRag is the way he is. In the past he's been plagued with girl problems. They always leave him for some foreign sailor. He goes and tracks them down usually in another country. Last time it didn't end well for Mr. DoRag. He went down to Brisbane searching once again. One night he drank well beyond his limit. He awoke in a back alley with his torn shorts around his neck and a sore ass. His body was graffitied in emoticons using various Sharpie colors. The tragic part of the story is that he no longer can produce any sound when he farts. Worst of all,barnyard animals now reject him. Certainly you can understand why he hates girls,foreigners,and emoticons.

I like following the AC joke, learned my Musto is not as good as I thought, brilliant writing from LSC survivor, liked hearing about my friends sailing in Florida last month, international events, some gun and trout fishing info, Viper tuning guide, Opti kids, people that hate big companies because they forgot to put on their big boy pants, solo and most recently Catherine (broke me down I must admit).

meanwhile, yes; SA is good for real info, tips, keeping up with gear, learning about how sailing is unraveling in the ole stomping grounds, and it's also highly entertaining for all the nonsense. most of the professional offendees have been weeded out (or grown thicker skins) by now, but i guess they must have just gotten the interwebs down under and there must be some softies down there who are just catching up.

You have to understand why DoRag is the way he is. In the past he's been plagued with girl problems. They always leave him for some foreign sailor. He goes and tracks them down usually in another country. Last time it didn't end well for Mr. DoRag. He went down to Brisbane searching once again. One night he drank well beyond his limit. He awoke in a back alley with his torn shorts around his neck and a sore ass. His body was graffitied in emoticons using various Sharpie colors. Sailing anarchy is not an arm of any government, adn thus may make its own rules regarding freedom of speech. one does not have a right to belong to a private club, nor does one have a right to say or do whatever they want in a private club. The site administrators do have the power and legal standing to edit or deny any speech they want. They cannot, however prevent people from going to other forums to do so.
