No doubt about it Graham you are a superstar.
The challange for you is now to find some one who gives a fuck and tell them.
Next flight back to Hamble? I bet the locals can't wait to hear of your latest exploits.

thanks for that
does line up well with the back of canter...
zoomed and cropped
40? bolts in that pic
so another 6? plates like that?
Beau Geste is at Gulf Harbour we cleared customs this morning arriving around 7.30 last night, thankfully uneventful trip we had very little wind for the first 24 hours then a northley of up to 40 knots, but running with the storm jib we just cruised along at around 10 knots.
Yesterday was spent motor sailing using the staysail and here we are.
Not strange sounds or new cracks, Great work Cam, Matt, David (Killer) and Chewy for keeping it all together at Norfolk and Davie Norris and team for the fly by repair work. She looks a little like Frankenstien with 300 bolts sticking out of her!
another plate on the other side, 4 across the deck, couple inside???

I've got Graham on ignore and I'm not the slightest bit interested in his drivel. Wouldn't make sense anyway.
But just to shove it up your arse, moron, a little something a mate emailed me from NZ. Don't know who took it though.BG.jpg 306.08K 303 downloads
That picture is at least 3 days old - was posted by the blokes that brought the boat back to Auckland days & days ago - very early in the morning on 'crews.org.nz'. Maybe it was the same chaps that were trying to hide the boat - so no one could see it. Ha ha ha
There is not one single Australian in these forums and every other forum that - doesn't hang their head in total shame and embarrassment - each and everytime you open your mouth. You are such a bad mannered - foul mouthed person - I'm totally ashamed to be living in the same state & same country as you are in.
You're 99% of the time 99 cents short of a dollar & 100% short on proper courteous & polite communication it is a total wonder you still have a friend left in this whole world.. Most of us would rather you went away & did lawn-bowls or anything else than be in this place.
Without respect for you foul mouth or your bad contaminated attitude -
I do wish all those others in here a grand weekend coming-up & do enjoy your sailing, ciao, james

I have received PM's from said "Truth" about how the trip has been. The people who he wants to share with all know. People are just sick of replying to your shit and all the "Cyber Bulling" crap. None of it is productive.
Chill out.. Go for a sail and lets all get along hey?
Then post it for fucks sake! Don't take up his childish attitude of "I know something you don't". Or is there something that you wish to hide.
Or maybe he's acting like the professional sailor that he (apparently) is. When something goes wrong and you know something it's always a good thing for your career to not say shit publicly. Not having information can't really hurt the unwashed masses but information (correct or incorrect) being put out by someone who isn't at the head of the program is a good way to get yourself nixed from the boat and from being invited onto other boats. Whether because the owner is sensitive about the subject, there's an insurance claim coming up or there's a lawsuit to be decided it's usually not a good play.

This is more than your usual club Port-Starboard touch up with the War/Hero Stories in the bar afterwards. There is reputations, jobs and a few million bucks on the line here. If you cant understand that concept I, nor others, can help you.
Would you like to know the in's and out's of a local 4 ksb that dropped it's rig a few weeks ago?? I know the facts, so does the insurance company.. Does that mean its a cover up because you don't know the info? Im sure the owner would love some rumors being spread around QLD its a cover up!
This is a non-issue, please stop fabricating conspiracy theories/coverups. A boat broke, its back in a harbor for assessment, insurance may or may not pay out.. Sounds about the same as any other accident that has happened, ever.

I think he was referring to me there Lefty. And I openly admit my only connection is knowing a guy who was on board, to which I wouldn't even call it a connection to the boat, rather a person..

I know all I was interested in. i.e how the repairs were done and the crew got back to NZ safely. Unlike a few others, I was never interested in what went wrong or who (if anyone) fucked up, or who is to blame.Negative JS. I spoke to a person I know, was interested as it is a huge task and said good luck and then asked if all was ok after a black out of comms.. I was told the basics, I.E, The boat is ok, holding up and will make NZ thanks to a few temporary repairs and an escort. I know nothing more about it, it's not my place nor yours to know, and as I stated in the past, any descriptive "evidence" can be damaging, be it true or not.
