The Volvo 70 Green Dragon is entered in the Round Ireland race starting on Sunday the 24th June. Apparently has been chartered by an amateur Crew from Dublin. ICAP Leopards record at risk????

Amatuer crew in a VOR 70 looking to beat a 100" canter. No chance.

"She will be raced by a regular amateur crew alongside the boat's seasoned professional crew."
Perhaps in with a good chance? Whats the forecast like.
*Edit record looks safe..
"Even a few days out from the start, this year’s Round Ireland looks set to provide a typical tactical challenge of all boats in the fleet. With the start of the race to be dominated by light to medium S to SW winds, no records are predicted to be broken this year."

You just have to get your parents to admit you're the lovechild of an Irish sailor/pilot/gigilo

Actually I'm about as irish as an american can be. Without the red hair or ridiculous accent of course.

Neato, I'll knock something up and send it their way... and I don't mean a chick either (though an un-knocked-up-one couldn't hurt).

As Irish as an American can be? Yeah... keep telling yourself that......
Seriously, walking around Erie Pennsylvania talking, some woman stopoed my to inform me that she was Irish...four fucking generations back.
Another asked me were Leprecauns real.
Nah only messing with you, go for it, would be myself only the parents would disown me if I told them "hey thanks for paying for college when I'm about to start, I'm joining greendragon....
Need any info on Ireland just PM

The Ker 46 is a real weapon! Painful race, maybe I'm glad to be watching online!
Very....
My ride fell through at late notice, lucky escape!
Tonnere is still only 3 miles or so behind, And it's an upwind race to Wicklow now. Seems to me it'll finish this way, or very close to it.

Have the potatoes come back yet? I heard there was a blight a few years ago...
Hey..... Fuck You.
Had a lovely few spuds for dinner, will miss them when I emigrate to America..
Now emigrating to the states, you can't get any more Irish than that!

I wonder will the protest go ahead next Monday or will they retire gracefully?
