I keep a page for my boat so that my other friends who have no interest in the boat(yes, there are people like that!) don't have to read what I post. Also for the crew to have a forum to post on, but they don't much.

I just like boats having Facebook pages because lots of cool info pops up that you don't really find elsewhere during a race. Its just so easy to make a quick update or post a photo when your course takes you back into cell range for a brief moment. I think the only two I follow are Evolution and Peerless. I can wait for info on the folks I don't know to show up here, but it's amusing to find out what friends are up to.
