we worked to try to reduce to one gybe on the first run. It was such a short run. It was really the start, it was the whole race. I'm sick of you guys commentating about champagne moments on other boats, so i wanted to have one of our own
Winning anything is fun, whether it's an in-port race or a game of checkers. All these guys on this boat did an amazing job, we just finished an around the world race, a Volvo race. God bless the green shirt, we love everyone in Ireland so it's the least we can do.

...and the livestream video of the race has apparently vanished from both the volvo site and livestream. Replace instead by the snoozefest coverage of the arrival into Galway. Anyone know where the livestream replay is?

I don't see any other tread on the in-port race and I don't see anybody's comments on the incident between G4 and Camper at the second bottom gate....as I recon Abudabi was penalized by coming on port in front of Sanya at the first down leg...now,the same thing happened between G4 and Camper...why there was no protest? I'm pretty rusty with my rules -of-way,but if that was a foul than...??!!...did anybody else noticed that?

Good illustration of the extra dimension of a square starting line, I thought. Looked like AB on port failed to yield to Sanya on strb. And G4 could not tack in front of Campy without fouling so had to cross clear ahead and then tack outside, good tactical sailing.
