Prior to leaving S&S it appears that Bruce Johnson has pretty much completed the online history of S&S. Scot Tempesta has been very good at calling attention to this site on several SA front page pieces and several posters have posted threads in the pages.

Now that Bruce is at Front Street shipyards you may want to book mark this link. For those of you who love sailboat pictures this "boat porn" site is the best that I have seen.

Thanks Bruce!

Also for those of you who have sailed (or powered) on one of these S&S designs you can post your experiences of that specific design underneath Bruce's write up. If you do not have one of the accounts listed just select Anonymous.

Wow, what a treasure trove. I've sent this to the boat builders at Rocking the Boat. I know that they will be very interested. Thanks for posting and to Mr. Johnson for doing all the work.

Great source!

Cheers,

MikeR

This is great! Does anyone know what boat Privateer was that Fort Schuyler had for ages. I thought it was an SS in the 40-42ft range and Aluminum(cadet proof). I got to sail on the boat for the last year the school had it and spent the winter fixing it up to sell it.

I came across this mini-site with Bruce's new contact info: bjohnson.yachts.com. Good luck Bruce and thanks for the memories.
