Mine looks like this except for the lack of computers and the extra women.
How rich of you....or perhaps baroque.

I have heard that the boat repair business is a good way to go baroque.

Mine has one plug for power, but also plugged in are the extra monitor, keyboard, and mouse, not to mention the backup drive. That extra monitor, of course, comes with a power cord, as does the drive. Total number of cords plugged into the computer: 5. Number hanging down from the table to the battery backup unit: 3.
Pete, you don't have a computer problem, but a dust and hair problem. Get one of those robo-vaccuum cleaners. Wife got a Roomba and it has cut down significantly on the dog hair and dunes. It does it while she sits on the porch and reads. I'm pretty sure it's more indispensable than I am now.

2: why?

The only reason you can't easily connect more monitors to the 8740w is the limited number of display port connections on the dock.
2. Obviously watching more tasks and/or using different or the same programs in conjunction with each other...otherwise you would be spending time switching tabs which is pain in the ass.

I'm tangled in wires and almost smothered by cat hair and dust! My "eye on the world" is so cluttered it's uncleanable, a bio-hazard. HELP!
your first problem is CATS. Get rid of them.

Having had both, dogs are way messier. Especially big dogs. Most especially big dogs with ready access to a pond, sand, and mud. Cats pretty much never go in ponds at all, though there was this one hilarious incident...
yea, there's your problem straight away. Messes are normal, they're even healthy. Cats - well... I like GSD's. Always have always will. Life is messy.

This is my fifth build. Nothing fancy, just something to get me through the summer. It was actually a computer that a co-worker got "sick" of and left it at work, and I just revived it with some more storage and the monitors (both on craigslist for $70). I don't like the mATX mobo/case, there's barely any room in it for cable management and hard drive space.
Probably going to flip the monitors for double what I paid and get one bigger IPS monitor. The computer will do for now, unless I can get some extra cash flow in and build some 3-way GPU computer I've been dreaming about.
And if anyone needs vga/dvi cables or displayport cables, let me know. I have literally, boxes, of them that we're going to throw out at work. Just shoot me the shipping via paypal.

Cats kill rodents and are cool critters to have around too. I don't have one now, but will again.
hey I don't have a GSD anymore - don't live in the kind of circumstances that would provide a good home for a GSD - yet..
I'm in a shruburban wasteland. Not a fitting home for such a noble animal.

That's really a gorgeous dog. Nobody does 'nobility' like a GSD.
