Nope. Gotta have that pink flag. Of course on the other hand if Nicole Scott can call herself a professional photographer I guess Clean can call himself a journalist pink flag or not.

At any rate, it's certain that in general he does not call himself a journalist, and probably fair to say that he cannot be mistaken for one.

I wrote the opening-page keynote for the final "Life At The Extreme" issue of the 2012 race - an editorial piece - and I did it because the VOR folks asked me to. I actually felt quite honored, since there are precious few chances for writers in the sport to ever got honored, and this is as big as any. They told me I could write whatever I wanted, It's opinion, definitely not some kind of fanciful idea of 'objective journalism.'

And no, I am no fucking journalist, and I never, ever want to be one.
