Great racing all weekend. Close boat on boat racing between Tasty, Jet and 2Xcess.
It was interesting the only race we were beaten across the line was a dead heat under AMS.
Sym V Asso kites was an interesting battle.
Thanks to Charles McC and his team for the RO duties.

Great racing, it was looking like a great weekend for us, until a #@$% on a hysterical 18 couldn't get his bearaway
correct while he was on port while we were on starboard and damaged our rudder beyond an overnight repair on the advice of a respected boatbuilder.

Name & shame that hysterical .. so others can give it a wide berth !
Brittania, and a safe berth would be seperate harbour or day...Name & shame that hysterical .. so others can give it a wide berth !
And I believe he may read from the book of Aesops at protest hearings, especially when the other boat does NOT have a rep. there...

Anyone know anything about a Hick 30 "ardent" for sale in Sydney? History, potential, etc...
thanks!
Seeing, as how no one else is answering... It depends on what you really want to do? If racing at the sharp end of the Super 30 fleet is your aim then the Hick 30 Evolution is a better buy for slightly more outlay. But it's never going to be your first choice for a weekender. Ardent looks like it may be ok (though far from luxurious) for nights on board, but you'd be racing for handicap in the S30 fleet.

How much was ardent going for?
IIRC, Ardent was $35k against the $39k Evolution is listed for.
