Is it the 6 cyl or 10 cyl?

I assuming 6. How long you had her, how has she held up, mgp's, grunt, hauling etc?

It's a v6, 2012 with 10k miles and gets 33/34 on the highway and 26 in the city, averaging 30.5 since new. Fun to drive in sport, lot's of grunt and will tow #8,000 pounds, so it will easily pull my work trailer or rib. Seems to be durable, time will tell. I liked the Porsche and Audi version but being basicly cheap the added features weren't worth it for me. Great cars all in all.

We're getting there! But draft still needs to be addressed. We're 9 foot on the Great Lakes, we go where we can and avoid the rest. Boats are compromises, everything is give and get. When it's time for shoal draft it will be on a 30' open boat with twin 250 Yamahas.

Thanks, it's on my bucket list for towing the Lightning and desireable 1 of each of the Tiger's, and now a home base Blue Jacket too I suppose!:)

It's too bad that CB designs aren't what they used to be. I used to crew on a great old '20s Alden schooner with a BIG board and it was never ever a problem. Of course it wasn't cheap and it wasn't light, but it was strong as hell. The same with the Wylie we owned. I guess folks just aren't putting enough design/build effort into the CBs. No reason it can't be done right.

The swing keel on the Pogo 12.50 looks to me like a way of doing it right

That is what really caught my eye besides the carry over of the short handed deck arrangement from the open class racing boats. The videos of them hauling ass and tiller driven might have had something to do with it also. LOL

The Synergy 1000's at our club are super cool boats but pushing almost 8ft draft and knowing the owners pretty well having raced with them and against them in the Express 27fleet years ago - its amazing how much smaller your sailing area becomes when you have a deep keel. The Pogo idea at least enables you to get into the shallow places ie marinas or into the cool delta spots and still offers you a fast good performer in the deep water. Also the 10.5 keel up fits through the Matson ship door for the fast ride home after a PAC CUP or Transpac ;-) a guy can dream.

The blue haul and teak color on the decks make it look yachty except for that club, at least it ain't that awful pink...
