A good graphic team in a custom logo shop should be able to make this one work. Post pics on here or the FT facebook page. Maybe the company that makes the shirts can offer them up to the class.

I'm pretty certain I have one image specifically for T shirts. Let me know if you want it.
This one has been simplified so it might work for a T shirt.
