anybody know much about Harmony 22? can be turboed , fun to sail or no?
not a sporty but looks close

The design came out of Florida about 1979 as a MORC racer and was up against the also new J24s. I think it took second at the 79 or 80 Nationals. I raced the 81 MORC nationals on the Harmony 30 and the designer/builder was with us. There was also a group of Harmony 22 there that did well.
At 3000 lbs/1100 ballast I do not know if you could turbo a Harmony 22 into a sportboat. That would be something to talk with a NA about. You can ask this on the Yahoo group and try to contact the fleet racing in the Florida panhandle.
