My chartplotter laptop died during my Gulf of AK crossing, so lost the track log. I wanted to review my route and one of my crew members wanted the track for memory sake I guess. My Furuno GPS-32 has the track log in .25NMi increments but I can't seem to transfer it to a PC. I am pretty sure I did this 5 years ago when I converted my San Diego to Sitka trip to a Google Earth KML file, but can't for the life of me figure out how or what software I used. The Furuno seems to only be able to export waypoints and routes. I am using "GPS Utility 5.15" which is talking fine via serial port with the GPS unit. Anyone have an idea of how to do this? I sewar my brain is rotting. 5 years ago it probably took me 10 minutes and now I am in hours and have no idea what the fuck to do. Can't even make good coherent sentences anymore
