I could swear a boat I sailed on had a dual tack shackle on a swivel, similar to this one (ignore the feeder), only with two snap shackles. I can't find one like it in any of the catalogs I've browsed. Does it exist or should figure out another solution? The purpose is to facilitate sails changes with both tacks attached at one time.

Drill another hole in the stem fitting in front of or behind the one you already have and mount another one?

Have stem fitting modified to accomodate two mounted in the same plane tangent to the centerline?

Couple of ways to do it using that stock piece of hardware without finding and buying the silver bullet to solve your desires for peeling perfection.

D screw shackle with 2 snap shackles on it.

Two of these should work. The pair will only cost ya $20, delivered.

I bought two a while back and they seem to work fine.

Actually purchased half a dozen shackles from this outfit and most have been nice. But one or two needed some filing to fit perfectly.

Still for the price...
