Anybody know a good outboard mechanic near Napptown? The phase inhibitor blew and I want to get the Manchester gasket replaced while I'm at it. Also, I need a knew recoil spring.

Look up Solomon Boat Sales, especially if it's Nissan / Tohatsu related.

That damn recoil spring hooks onto a plastic tab in the spring housing. We tried for hours, but can't quite get the right angle to hook the tab when we put the spring back into the housing.

I just had the same problem with a small lawn mower. Turns out I was trying to wind the spring in the wrong direction . After a new spring and a deep breath to rethink I got it right.
