The NOR Amendments already allow IRC +1 for crew under 14.
Then adding a spectaor position might be building a crowd.
But if everyone in the Class will agree anytning should go
I agree, he should be allowed to sail. But having said that, this elderly guy is an avid sailor. Is he really not going to participate in the thinking end of the game? Also, will he sail everyday, along with the rest of the crew, regardless of the predicted conditions, both light and heavy? Will you put him down below in the light air and chop, or leave him in the very back of the boat regardless of the conditions? I'm not trying to be a dick, just playing the devils advocate.
What does Espo think? His dad had to stop sailing because fo the weight limits.
