I'm new here so first a hello to all.

Does anybody here has live experience with these Lavranos One Design's

I am very much interrested in the characteristics of the Holiday 34 as a Blue Water boat.

Cees,

Built in South Africa by John Robertson Yachts (predecessor to Robertson & Caine) from mid '80's onward, the L34 is the racing version, with fractional rig, Holiday 34 the cruising version with a shorter, masthead rig. Very well built, I've never heard of structural issues with one and they have maintained their value well. They sail pretty well and can get up and go downwind in a bit of breeze.
Offshore no problem - they have done lots of ocean crossings.

Regards
