You guys helped me learn how to sail, how to sail well, how to maintain my Pearson, so many other things, and also make me laugh like hell.
Thank you!

My youngest son came down from Alaska last week on the 14th, and went over and picked him up at SeaTac early in the morning.
Last night my oldest flew in from Alaska, so had all three boys here last night. Probably be a busy day here with more family and friends stopping by.

I hosted the day for the second time and I am not a cook- I follow recipes and I apply heat. My turkey was fine, stuffing was fine, and a good time was had by all. For that I am grateful. My childhood reports never said "takes direction well", but if it is written down, I do ok.

Today, I give thanks for all the great friends I've met here, some in real life, and some "not yet", but great friends nonetheless.

I gave thanks to all of you that I'm glad to have met - and those that I may meet someday....
But most of all I gave thanks to those of you I won't meet; irascible SOB's the lot of you!

Different for us this year, first year without being with all the family back in the states. We connected with our usually gathering via Skype while we were grilling a turkey breast (too big for the oven), then dinghied over to a nearby beach bar for a T-Day potluck on the beach with a bunch of cruisers. It not being an actual holiday here...meant it didn't feel much like a holiday.
Still a good day though.
