Any experiences, good or bad with RemoteVision? It has been in B&G´s range for a long time. I do quite a bit of single handling and I need some type of remote.

I found it to be pretty nice, although the User Interface was clearly designed by the same idiot who designed the FFD UI. It definitely has some quirks, especially when used in conjunction with a pilot.

If you're looking for a bargain, here is a cheap one on ebay Germany right now (ends in a couple of hours):

Not mine, though.

New owner of a boat with B&G 3000 series including RemoteVision.

Anyone tried to calibrate the hand compass?

The manual says:

Entering the Compass Setup pages:

Power on the RemoteVision whilst holding the NavStick UP, this puts the unit into Compass setup mode....

But nothing happens but the unit power on.

Any other suggestions?

( I am trying this at home, away from the instruments at the boat. )
