My 2011 spinnaker made of Contender's "Superlite" nylon; has a smattering of glue spots....quite liberally spread out...... in between the layers of nylon where the sail is multi-layered for the first gores/panels out from the clew and head patches. It is not an issue other than cosmetically kind of ugly & people ask me what's up. Do sail makers do this now instead of using seam-tape as a sewing aid? The last spinnaker I bought was 10+ years ago and I guess I'm out-of-the-loop.....but trying hard to get back!
Glue spots on spinnaker between layers - normal?
