Can anybody help in locating the present location of the 1975 aluminium Admiral's Cupper Noryema X. Frers design 46ft built in aluminium by Joyce Marine in Southampton.

I have done a bit more searching and suspect that Noreyma X might have become Hesperia III which I think was in Northern Ireland or Scotland. Trouble is that references to Hesperia III say the loa is 49ft, not 46ft. So bit confusing.

Hesperia was a frers 49 which was in northern ireland and owned by Brian Bucanan .which then believe became killerely flyer belonging to a adventure centre in the south of ireland .

Thanks, checked through those names, but references seem to say Hesperia/Kileerly Flyer was a Frers Ex-Noreyma from 1979, but I am not sure there was ever a Frers 49 Noryema in 1979. Do you know if the Hesperia/Killery was built in alloy?

Yes there was, chartered to the Brazilians for the AC, alloy built by Joyce Marine.

Apparently the 1975 46' became for about 15 years "Sartori" for a Greek-Australian owner:

Thank you MF. Sartori looks like the correct boat. Seems Bill Psaltis sold her on in the late 1980's. So where she might be now I have no idea, possibly in the Eastern Med somewhere if still afloat.

She looked like "just post-refitting".

Trivia moment.... The boat's name was the owner's (Ron Amey) spelt backwards. But of course you all knew that.

However, of the 4 YCs on the transom (of which RA was a member of all), R.O.C.R should surely be R.O.R.C. Could you let the painter know so he can fix it?

Ron was a superb owner and an all round good man. Loads of good offshore racers started out on his boats.

i took the photograph almost two years ago. i never saw her again and, unfortunatly, i don't know neither the painter, neither the owner...
i hope there is the right YC's name nowadays...

Hi,

I saw the boat you are looking for in a port on the Canary Island of Lanzarote a couple of years ago.

I was on the lookout for a boat at the time so I took some pictures of it that I will try to find. The name of

the boat as I remember was Sartori and it had just arrived with an Australian crew according to the

neighbouring boat. It was ready for some extensive TLC.

If you call the port and ask for their register of boats in around 2005-2007? You will probably find the owner. Good luck with your quest.
