Someone once posted a method of inverting a computer monitor image so that it appears you are inside the monitor, looking out. Anyone know how to do that?
Mind you, I am not looking for the suggestion of Ctrl+Alt+arrows to spin the image.

Because I am a bit of a bastard when it comes to practical jokes.
This was done to me once and, once I got over the shock, it was pretty funny. Everything on the screen was functional, but appeared as if you were inside the monitor looking out through the screen.

It's not a webcam overlay. The screen appears as if you were inside your monitor, looking out. Words are backwards, left is right, right is left.
Except, it all still works.
Somebody has to know about this. It can't have been all the hallucinogens I did as a youth.

Hi,
It will vary machine to machine as it's usually controlled by the display softare. It's not on all PCs. It is used when you are using a projector to the back of a screen rather than the front. As this is not common any more, the option may not exist.
Assuming you are using a PC rather than a Mac, if you right click on the desktop you should get a menu item allowing you to modify the screen properties.
On mine, I have an "NVIDIA Control Panel". My current version allows a bunch of display options including portrat/landscape and inverting.
Good luck.

Not what he meant, but man what a cool idea. Why hasnt someone done that? It would be seriously mindblowing to come back from the pub and have an inverted image + looking thru the screen image at the view of the webcam.
