Hello, i heard a Mexican team sailed the Quarter Ton Cup 1978 and/or 1979 with a Jim Lensveld modified (open transom) Manzanita 25. The boat is getting a lot of TLC in the Netherlands at the moment, but does anyone know something about this boat? Thanks, Hylke (Ecume de Mer 1/4 tonner 'Pura Vida')
look at this link if you can find out ?

@ Chorus, I know that page. I think it is the Manzanita 'Mazatlan', but no info about the crew or the boat... ;-(

Another question, has anyone here info about the Offshore Quarter Tonner designed by Bernard Olesinski? We are organizing a 1/4 Ton Cup in the Netherlands and are looking for boats ;-)
Oops, that's one from a long gone past !
As far as i remember it was more of a cruising than racing yacht at a time when the cup was going in full one-off direction.
M.be you can reach the designer here http://www.cowesdire...-olesinski-4849
He moved away from sailboats to motor-boats and has been extremely succesful at that.
