It was both the front and the back, and they didn't fall off they kind of cantilevered around a mutual point of separation, forming an unusual set of loading characteristics that were not conducive to ordinary operation of the vessel.
Mutual point of seperation? Who gets custody?

Chinese junk.
Was she built in China? I know when we race against her in Annapolis to Bermuda she was flying the Chinese flag.
She ran aground shortly after the start in Chesapeake Bay. We did have a good snicker on our boat. “Sure you got a multimillion dollar boat but you really should have bought some charts.”

the guy that owns the boat is from Hong Kong. Now a part of China. The boat was taken to Cookson in New Zealand , so they may have built it.:D/>
