It was both the front and the back, and they didn't fall off they kind of cantilevered around a mutual point of separation, forming an unusual set of loading characteristics that were not conducive to ordinary operation of the vessel.

many said it was a canting hull

but turned out it actually could

rumor the deck will be filled in while seperated

then the bottom pulled apart and filled in

new way to stretch a Yacht ........... eh

Was she built in China? I know when we race against her in Annapolis to Bermuda she was flying the Chinese flag.

She ran aground shortly after the start in Chesapeake Bay. We did have a good snicker on our boat. “Sure you got a multimillion dollar boat but you really should have bought some charts.” :lol:

the guy that owns the boat is from Hong Kong. Now a part of China. The boat was taken to Cookson in New Zealand , so they may have built it.
