I don't know but the tack line for the assy looks a bit under spec.

Yeah but odd the hull is in Sydney as he has moved his business up to QLD and was led to believe the new bus was being built up there. 

 

What would you do with the old hull? Put a flush deck on it and turn it into a cheap little harbour racer? Still going to cost 150+ to source a rig and keel etc..... Can buy a complete one for that these days.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe use it to make yacht club bar or some kind of sailing themed sculpture. Not much use for anything else.

It is the new Rob Shaw designed 40 footer.  It is being built at Partridge Yachts in New Zealand, It is all carbon and has a canting keel.  I cannot wait to see it fly!

 

BTW: the Shaw 4.0 was built right beside it see

Close, except built in Warriewood, NSW. Andy Dovell design. Started with Farr 40 deck
