Seeking some insights on a Surveyor for a Sabre 386 in the Mamorneck area of NY. Hoping to find someone who really pays attention to detail. But isn’t going to quote me 10 pages of the ABYC s rules for galvanic isolators, the standards of which probably weren’t in existence at the time the boat was created. That seems to cause trouble with insurance companies. I’m more concerned with the structure of the boat than that kind of nonsense. I have used Gene Barnes out of MA in the past who I find fantastic but we might not be able to get our schedules in sync on this one.

Appreciate any insights good or bad!

Someone recently requested a recommendation for a surveyor on the CT coast. Search for that. Off the top of my head, I can't remember the name of the guy I endorsed but he is very good and will travel to Mamoroneck.

Out of curiosity, what is the name of the boat? There were a couple in my sailing club nearby that I'm familiar with that are/were for sale. PM me if you prefer.
