I don't watch much - but, there are a couple shows I've recently enjoyed. Anthony Bourdain's "No Reservations", for his work at bridging cultural gaps through the sharing of good food, and "The Voice" - as it's an honestly positive reality show in which recognizing the talents of the participants is paramount, and the egos of the judges are secondary.
This year's cast is great - they shoulda ditched Christina Aguilera in favor of Shakira a couple years ago. I really like how all the coaches and performers take time to offer positive, constructive advice even though they're in competition. This kinda TV, IMHO, accentuating the positive, is where we need to spend our limited viewing time.
I think that Michelle Chamuel (sp??) is this year's David Nicholas - that said, ALL the contestants have demonstrated incredible poise and talent, and I'm glad I don't have the responsibility for choosing the winner!
