This place is beautiful, the people have been wonderful........good food.............not so much. Mexican? They don't even know what it is. I found a lonely bottle of tabasco at a co-op the other day and have been lugging it around to all the restaurants. Salsa? Never heard of the stuff.........at least here in the north UK anyway.

And if you would have gotten a six pack of Smithwicks, you could be having yourself a good ole fashioned Irish eight course meal.....

Daughter made me a rather large platter of fudge.
Wife ran out to the bagel store and grabbed me an onion bagel with cream cheese and salmon for breakfast.
Just had BLTs for lunch.
I suspect onion dip and chips are planned for the Yankee game.
Since we did our Father's Day Dinner on Friday, I will grill for the girls later on. Mmmm steak.

Enjoy your day mutherfukers!

Need to replace the facia on the front balcony today, then the railing.  I hope the bloody (brilliant?) rig I invented keeps the railing posts where they are....or...i'm in deep shit.

Prolly get a call from the two too-far-away-to-help sons in the middle of the process.  SOP, but they're old men now anyway...44 & 47.

Happy Fathers Day all you MoFos!

Yep, but it was worth it. Down 3-0 in the bottom of the ninth and they managed to win it with a walk off three run home run after a lead off solo home run. Would have a great day either way, but that was a really nice way to end it.

Slept in. Read the paper. Played mahjong with Mrs WW and two of our little WWs (didn't win, but hey who's counting?). Next, put together the two stand up paddle boards that I got from Mrs WW for birthday/father's day (4 days apart) - LIFE IS GOOD!

Len, I am glad it worked out for you and your family there in Queens. Haven't been to Citi Field yet myself, but drive by it when I head to JFK. Nice looking place.

Rickster, different story today huh? You know the "Yonkees" are the only undefeated team in the majors this season when they score 5 runs or more. That's 20-0. I like Soccia and company so long as we ain't facing them in the playoffs. But I think you are up against it today.

You gents enjoy the rest of your Father's Day. My little girl just got home from work, first real job, second day.... LOL. I'll grill her and the wife some chicken and steak in a little while and get some of them "Yeah Daddy!" hugs. You guys do the same.

The might do better to spread a few of those runs around to some other games so they wouldn't be in third place, they only need to win by one...

Older son is working all weekend.  Younger son is in Newport sailing.  I moved 5 cubic yards of mulch out of the driveway.  I think dinner will be via IV.

6-5 Yonkees now, b-of-the-9th. This could get good.

Oh yeah, and kudos to Mariano for his last Angel stadium appearance---you've had a helluva run, Sir....

And Mo gets 'er done. Needed all 5 of those runs and then some.
Doesn't get much better than Pujols Vs Rivera to end the game.

Now where is that fudge my daughter made? Time for dessert.

Well, son and daughter-in-law called to say a grand baby TOG is on the way.  Pretty cool fathers day.  Peeker nearly blew out me eardrum when they called.  All good.  My daughter took us to the Club for a fatty bacon burger and a couple Mac & Jacks.
