Whats up with the oddballer dinghy scene in Southern California? Are there any weekly dinghy friendly beer can races in the LA/ Long Beach area?  I recently purchased a vector and Im looking for some events for this summer and fall.  Im also hoping to find another vector to race against in the LA area.

I can't seem to find anything out there. would travel to sail against other oddball fast boats. Just sailed against a 49r, 18footer,  and 29r in OKC. At least 50 other oddball boats at the club. Nobody sails them. Sad

I would like to put together something similar to the Texas Centerboard Circuit for the west coast.

If anyone knows of any regattas that have an open dinghy portsmouth fleet in the southern California area, please post.  I would like to get a schedule going for everyone who doesn't have fleet of there own in our area.  I will post NORs as I find them as well.

FM, how and when did you get the TCC started?  I was thinking of starting with a Facebook group or something.
