Ok gang, I'm looking at getting a carbon boom done here. It needs some attachement points for the vang and mainsheet. I'm looking for pics of the molded glass bit that sits on top of the boom, that you can pass line through, and tie a block to the boom. Having a bit of trouble finding them.

Many thanks!!

I pretty much found what I'm looking for, but any alternatives would be appreciated. Many thanks!

For vang I've seen webbing wrapped around the boom for about a foot travelling aft, makes it into a compression load vs a shear/point load. Mainsheet, simple few webbing loops around the boom, same as most boats are doing now, regardless of what material boom they have.

Pics of what you found?

And if you can find a way to keep everything in place without drilling any holes, all the better. If you have to bolt/rivet something in place (especially near the middle of the boom) see if you can do it with only one tiny hole...
