Been trying to sell a 505 for a year now. Posted on the 505 website, emailed it to the 505 email list, paid for ads here (twice!). I just am not getting anything. The obvious concern--it must be overpriced!-- hasn't even really occurred to me as I haven't met a soul yet that I thought would even put in an offer at any price. Currently I'm asking half of what I paid for it four years ago, with lots of upgrades, too.

Tips on moving this thing?

505 guys--nobody looking for a boat anymore?

Its a tough market to be selling dinghies in.  taking it to a big event with a for sale sign on it would be my only other idea that you have not yet tried

go win a major regatta like NA's or Worlds with it. That'll get it sold pretty quick....

Same issue here with a 505 ... the solution: start sailing it again and enjoy it!
