We ain't got many of those Mini things 'round 'ere, let alone many racing overseas so the following 30min spiel from Katrina Ham on her mini campaign this year caught my eye:

Don't know much about her other than google suggesting she has a blog:

Given I have a penchant for living out adventures through other people this would possibly be enough for me to justify my ticket this year.   wonder down during lunch etc...

...then sean langman is talking about something decidedly less interesting afterwards but that's ok, there will be plenty of pretty things to look at.

Anyway, thought I'd post here, if nothing but support an aussie lass doing something awesome!

Cheers

Spoon

She's awesome! Can't wait to see her when she comes home. Yes we've sailed together and I've been following her journey with interest!

Wondered down over lunch.   She is awesome...

I'm a sucker for an Solo ultra endurance junkie story;  There's always a very assertive, school of hard knocks back story.   Should have got her autograph so I can say in a few years "When I met Katrina Ham..."

We have talked about her a couple of times but the time zone didn't work out as I think it was 2 or 3am where she lives.

I am planning on doing it whilst she is home.

I spent a few hours yesterday catching up with her whilst wandering around the show and watched her first talk.  She did so well and had people asking questions and everything!   Now she just needs a sponsor or two to make her dreams happen.

Well get me a link after you've done it and we'll see about putting it up on the front page
