The people in the foiling tractor T-shirt are quite lively.

I usually stand with (or near) them.

On the back of the shirt is a tribute to Massey Fergusson

For the pic check out the "show your tractor!" thread. Member k-f-u uses it as his avatar and has posted the whole pic.

australia is big and has more people

so it gets a big star and more little stars with more points

nz is more socialist

so it gets communist red stars, and only 4 of them, with little white outlines, so they stand out

...calling NZ's boat a "tractor" was coined by KooTooki, and that it was a stupid ass post, trying to sound academic, and in response to an entirely fabricated argument by an even worse local SF poster.  Like anyone with the least bit of a smidgeon of a brain ever though New Zealand's boat looked slow.

Technically the answer is closer to yes than no.  The monarch of both Oz and NZ is the same person who is the monarch of the UK. So the authority to rule of all three governments is rooted in the same person. Not just Oz and NZ of course.  Canada, Fiji, Granada, Jamaica, and another 9 nations.  Interestingly, if the UK were to become a republic, this would not affect (now ex) UK monarch's position as head of state of the rest of these Commonwealth countries.

The main reason the flags are so alike is that we both have a great view of the Southern skies.

Dear All,

Hi.

It s my first post on this forum, and as far as I understand, this subject is about printing Red Tractor T-Shirt ?

I would like to know how to do it: just download the .jpg & find a t-shirt boutique which can do that ?

My Best Regards to  the Sailing Anarchy community

Yours sincerely

Dear All,

Benchie

Tried this last night, the more professional places say that the res is too low and it will come out grainy.

Tried to get one done overnight but no dice.

Well that was a bad nights sleep .....

This was only supposed to be a quick bit of fun, hopefully looks about right now. I'll delete the bad ones from Flikr.

Please put a pie warmer on the back and a feather duster on the nose, like a bow sprit!

I just grabbed the pics off a google search but even so, full image is 2300 x 1531 pixels which should be plenty of resolution to print an image on a T-shirt.

Firstly: Don't just right click and save the image in this thread as this is effectively a thumbnail. Instead, click on it once to get a larger preview, then right click and download. If this too has been down sized go to the direct link below.

Second Option: Go to the direct Flicker link and download orignal resolution file here: http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/

One of the original Red Tractors:

Used by Sir Ed to get to the South Pole.

He was only meant to go halfway setting up supply depots for Fuchs, (using snowcats), coming from the other side on the ist crossing on the Antarctica but keep going and reach the pole before Fuchs.Attached File  RedT4.jpg   11.59K   5 downloadsAttached File  RedT2.jpg   18.52K   2 downloadsAttached File  RedT1.jpg   9.38K   2 downloadsAttached File  RedT3.jpg   7.7K   3 downloads

You photoshop guys are too much!

Very saucy, haven't laughed so much for ages

Looks as though a wide selection may be available if we wait

Not sure if I prefer the original unadulterated classic, or one of the modded versions

Kiwi in drivers seat, pie warmer on the drawer bar facing the viewer, and feather duster with handle as bowsprit?

All good!

Hi

Thank you Burbanite thank you Webfish,

AFAIK he Red Tractor has an Aussie mecanician trimming the throttle,

May be it was the kind purpose of the extra big star on the flag ?

A little A-Cat class symbol somewhere could be a fair reminder of this Aussie talent

or try to find the logo of the Bendigo's sailing Club for the same reason

Just a question to Snaerk, do you write  in Turkish, Finnish, or Hungarian ?

Regards

Benchie

Tractors: the Swiss army knife of NZ. Drive to the ends of the earth, whip a billionaire's arse, and feed-out when you get home.

Ok boys. We have left the foiling tractor artwork with "California Smiles" T shirt shop Fisermans Wharf. They'll make them up while you wait.
Cheers

sorry, forgot to post the big tractor pic. So here's the highest resolution I have (2300x1531). The original image is © Chris Cameron / ETNZ, so I think anything beyond private use is prohibited. If you like the photoshopping and wanna buy me a beer, send me a PM

(forum won't let me post the big pic, I put it on dropbox)

That is actually the front and back views. I had no idea what I was getting, I read the post by Roota, called the shop in SF and asked them to send me one overnight. It is now packed in my luggage on its way with me to the race at the Circuit Of The Americas (I like the segue) in Austin, TX this weekend.

I'll miss the races live today but will be catching up later. Off to LAX...
