Ok, what I thought was an easy question but I don't seem able to find the size paper I need.

I just ordered an air file that is 16 inches in length, viking V100, for fairing the hulls and decks of two boats I am working on.  I went to order sandpaper and cannot seem to find any long enought for this file.  I saw it had clip on attachments for the paper which seems easier than contact adhesive.

Who should I contact?

I do business with these folks in Pennsyltucky.  Any size, any grit, any composition.  Prices are fair, and they are very nice to deal with.

Find your local auto body supply wholesaler.  Stay out of boat stores.

you didn't specify the width you're after, however, I get more than great mileage from stainless steel linishing belts and a standard Makita runs a 610x100mm belt(24"x4"), go for a good grade, and available in a wide variety of grits and shapes/types grab one and try it, ask your local stainless guys where they buy abrasives etc from

Perhaps it is A higher power's intervention.

"He may have a sander but he can't ruin the boats without paper."
